Notes

In short

Today we said the poem It is Fun! Leap, climb, trot! And an igloo! It's fun to be this, it's fun to be that! To leap like a lamb, to climb like a cat! To hop like a frog, to swim like a fish! To trot like a horse, to fly like a bird! I can act, just like them all! These are real lambs, leaping! And this cat is climbing a tree! A frog, hop, hop! A horse, trot, clip-clop, clip-clop! New words, leap means a long jump! Trot, the clip-clop walk of a horse! Climb, to go up! And the sight words, this, that, like, to, them, all, none! And quack, quack, the duck! I would run after a mouse! I would drink milk! I would say, meow! I would say, Hello, big friend! And an elephant too, splash in the water! And a squirrel! So, a igloo? No! Igloo starts with the sound i, so we say an, an igloo!
